The Start
We started off with just Taka throwing random parties in hotel rooms, under the name Taka Time or Sleeper Senpai. Slowly the friends made along the way became core foundation of the evolution to what is now known as Kawaii Cartel. A community of nerds cosplaying “normal” people during everyday life!
It started at Otakon 2021 in Maryland. By the time 2023 Holmat in Florida rolled around, The Infamous “Taka Time” parties had made a name to most party conventions. 2024 came and we decide to come together under one name and not just a person. We were called The Council first. Then it evolved into Kawaii Cartel. A lifestyle that’s more than just parting every weekend.
The Present
Currently Kawaii Cartel is expanding their territory and influence to everything the sun touches. The current projects that we can talk about are:
